Every liner in this range solves the same problem in a different way: keep a container's contents in, contamination out, and make it obvious if someone's already opened it. Sealing Solutions covers four liner families — EPE foam primary liners, glue bonded liners, two-piece induction seals, and tabbed liners — built for rigid containers and closures across food, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, and personal care applications.

Each type is built around the same core requirements: a secure bond to the container rim or cap, tamper-evident closure, and leak prevention on modern, high-speed packaging lines, with the specific liner chosen to match the container material, contents, and required reusability. All liners are produced under the same ISO 9001 quality system used across Nisan's production lines.

The right liner depends on the application, from chemical-resistant EPE foam for syrups and detergents to reusable two-piece induction seals for edible oils and cosmetics, detailed by type below.

  • Tamper-evident sealing options
  • Leak prevention and product protection
  • Multiple liner types for different applications
  • Built for rigid containers and closure systems
  • Matched to container material, contents, and reusability needs
  • Produced under an ISO 9001 quality system

Primary Liners (Cap Liners)

Primary liners are inserted inside closures to create a secure seal between the cap and the container. Commonly manufactured from Expandable Polyethylene (EPE) foam, they provide cushioning and recovery properties that help compensate for minor surface irregularities. EPE foam also offers low water absorption and resistance to chemicals, making these liners suitable for chemical products, detergents, and pharmaceutical syrups.

Glue Bonded Liners

Glue bonded liners consist of an aluminium foil layer combined with carton material, applied using adhesive to bond the container to the closure. They're designed for rigid containers that need a durable bond, commonly used in applications such as coffee jars and similar packaged products.

Induction Seal (Two-Piece Liner)

Two-piece induction liners create a hermetic seal by bonding a carton-based aluminium foil liner to the rim of a container through a non-contact induction sealing process. The liner consists of a sealing layer and a backing layer. During sealing, the foil bonds to the container rim while the backing remains inside the cap, allowing the closure to be reused after opening. Commonly used for edible oils, cosmetics, and beauty products.

Tabbed Liners

Tabbed liners are induction liners designed with integrated pull-tab features to improve opening convenience while maintaining tamper evidence and airtight sealing. Available with half-moon pull tabs, they allow easy, controlled opening without compromising seal integrity.

Frequently asked questions

Four liner families: primary (cap) liners in EPE foam, glue bonded liners, two-piece induction seals, and tabbed induction liners with pull tabs.

A carton-based aluminium foil liner is bonded to the container rim through a non-contact induction sealing process. The foil seals to the rim while the backing layer stays inside the cap, so the closure can be reused after opening.

EPE foam primary liners: the foam has low water absorption and resistance to chemicals, making it suitable for chemical products, detergents, and pharmaceutical syrups.

Yes. Tamper-evident sealing options are available; tabbed liners in particular keep tamper evidence and airtight sealing while adding an easy-open half-moon pull tab.

Rigid containers that need a durable bond, commonly coffee jars and similar packaged products. They combine an aluminium foil layer with carton material applied using adhesive.
