Thickness grades

Nisan produces aluminium lidding and foil across several thickness grades, each matched to an application. Pharmaceutical blister foil is available in 20, 25, and 30 micron in multiple temper grades. AluPet lidding rolls are produced at 24 micron.

Aluminium lids and paper-foil laminate are supplied to application-specific requirements, with flexible customization in sizes, shapes, and material configurations, rather than a single fixed gauge.

Sealability by container substrate

The right material depends on what it has to seal to. The table below maps each Nisan lidding and foil line to its documented thickness, the substrates it seals to, and its supply format. A dash means the value is specified per order rather than fixed.

Barrier protection

Across the range, Nisan aluminium materials provide barrier protection against moisture, oxygen, and light, helping maintain product quality and extend shelf life. Embossing patterns on lids support smooth peelability while preserving sealing strength and barrier performance.

Printing and coding

Printing runs in-house on flexographic lines using food-grade inks, with high-definition print clarity and precise batch and expiry date coding where applications require it. Custom printing is available across the lidding and foil lines for brand presentation.

Quality and material sourcing

Production runs under an ISO 9001 certified quality management system with continuous quality control and monitoring. Aluminium for the lids and blister foil lines is sourced through an exclusive partnership with a GMP-certified European manufacturer, giving verified and consistent raw-material sourcing for those lines.
